Generally speaking, You can pick just about any profession – a politician, movie star, music star, sports star, etc.
Once you start moving up the ladder, they will find some dirt on you. From that point on you will not be moved up unless you play their game and do what they say.
It happens in the workplace too. Have you ever noticed the person that gets moved up is usually a jerk? That’s because he agreed to play the game and became unethical.
Now, remember I’m speaking generally. If you’re a good person with values chances are you won’t be moved up. This has been in place and practiced for thousands of years.
The world and everything in it is rigged.
